PROGRAMS
Programs and events created and sponsored by the Nelson PTA are intended to help fund the tools needed by the school to fulfill their mission; provide opportunities and venues to empower and enable the students; engage and incentivize the local community to participate in school activities; and helps bridge the gap between the local community and the school.
The primary program of the Nelson PTA is Reflections.

REFLECTIONS
PTA Arts in Education is proud to kick off the REFLECTIONS Program at Nelson MS. Here is a chance for our students to showcase their talents and creativity in a variety of arts categories - dance, film, literature, music, photography and visual arts. Last year, one of our NMS seventh-graders made it all the way to the state competition with her artwork, so we’re hopeful to have more Nelson students try for that honor.
